WHO WE ARE

WHO WE ARE

Founded in November 2016 by Dr. Shivan Naidoo, Docs on Health began as a corporate initiative and subsequently emerged as an outreach programme to groups and communities with little or no access to reliable sources of medical information. The overwhelming response indicated that there is a dire need for a programme of this nature.

With the addition of other doctors as well as health care professionals, they have moulded Docs on Health as it stands today.

People required assistance to understand their diagnoses of medical treatment in the simplest and most comprehensive manner possible. They needed the ‘one on one’ meeting with someone who had the time to sit with the individual and afford them a detailed explanation.

Docs on Health was created for the people by the people to eliminate the “blanket of ignorance” currently debilitating our country. From the individuals on the street to the corporates of South Africa, we are set to transcend barriers and encourage a healthier way of life.

Our Vision

To “Educate and Empower” the People of South Africa on Health and Wellness matters.

Our Mission

Is to provide accurate and reliable sources of information. The barrage of online information has led to people leaping to unfounded conclusions about their diagnoses and prognoses. We, at Docs on Health, insist on providing a practical and methodical delivery of knowledge, allowing our fellow South Africans to become well informed and aware of health issues.

Our Values

Clear and Concise:
To simplify the understanding of medical conditions whilst accurately dispelling myths and stigmata surrounding illness and disease.

Nurture:
To foster good health and wellness practices via supporting initiatives and health schemes.

Inspire:
Instilling hope in those with dread diseases. Empowering both the youth and adults alike. Motivating the community to lead healthier lives.

Doctors on Health are working tirelessly to provide health education throughout the country. One of the best ways to manage our high burden of disease is educating the youth of South Africa.
